The aim of this initiative is to improve the nutrition status of women and children in Nigeria. Our objective is to reduce the burden of malnutrition among women and children in Nigeria by empowering women with credible information on healthy diet and good nutrition and teaching them helpful skills to be able to imbibe healthy eating habits and to live healthier lives. Thirdly, we shall take a tour of some states in northern Nigeria to meet women, face-to-face in our live events through Arewa Cafeteria registered non-governmental organization called Nutrition Access Initiative in Nigeria (NAIN). We want to engage with women-listen and understand their healthy eating challenges and plan how best to support and empower them with nutrition education and practical skills to cook a healthy diet. We shall also engage with key nutrition actors in the states to strengthen partnerships to implement nutrition activities within the states.
